Suspects Charged
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office announced that:

- Mario Andre Barber, 46
- Brittany Amber Baker, 42
were arrested and charged with Parker’s murder.
Investigators believe Parker was killed inside a residence in Douglasville, Georgia, where Baker lived.
Identification of the Victim
Parker’s remains were recovered from the Dog River Reservoir in May. According to reports, his father helped investigators identify him after recognizing tattoos that matched his son’s. Authorities later confirmed the identification through DNA analysis.

Investigators reportedly removed items from the Douglasville residence, including a reciprocating saw and cleaning supplies, as part of the investigation.
Officials have not publicly disclosed a motive or detailed the relationship between Parker and the suspects. However, a family fundraising page stated that Parker was allegedly harmed by “people he knew and trusted.”
